Q: The NAMM Ultimate Ears Pro Stage is a major platform for showcasing industry talent. What does it mean to be part of Gritty amplifying women in music at NAMM?

Dee Simone –
This will be my first time performing at NAMM, performing with Ultimate Ears, and with Gritty In Pink. This means to never give up on your dreams cause you’ll never know where you’ll end up.

Holly West –  Being part of Gritty amplifying Women in music at NAMM means embracing a vibrant, woman-owned network that elevates emerging talent. It’s about spotlighting female artists, fostering a supportive sisterhood, and ensuring their voices resonate far and wide. Together, we create opportunities, inspire one another, and celebrate the powerful contributions women make in the music industry.

Izzy T – Every year I’ve watched (from the UK)  friends of mine in LA attend, and perform at NAMM. Now it feels pretty surreal to say that this year, for the first time I’ll be attending, AND performing, with a community of talented, ambitious women. Blessed to be representing not only myself at NAMM, but Gritty In Pink & Ultimate Ears Pro.

Jasmine Crowe – Gritty In Pink is such a special community to be a part of and has connected me and many of my peers to so many talented and dynamic women in the music industry - I love how we lift each other up, bringing more awareness to gender equality with every project and opportunity! It’s so exciting to be performing at NAMM this year with GIP and Ultimate Ears Pro!

Jules Walcott – Being a girl in my mid-20s who’s been in music since I was 9, I get how tough this industry can be. But it also makes me want to create a space where other young females feel seen and heard. We’ve been fighting to prove ourselves for years, so having a community that lifts each other up, celebrates our wins, and pushes us to keep going is everything. It’s about showing women that they can take up space, get loud, and make their mark without anyone telling them they can’t.

Lisa Bianco – It means we are here.  I still encounter people who think that there aren’t enough or a scarce amount of professional female musicians around. We are not only here, in vast amounts, but with incredible varied and diverse talents to offer.

Shanice Antonia – It means showcasing what happens when you’re a woman in music, you don’t give up, stick together, and go after what they want. It means sharing the gift and spreading the word of our talents, grit, support, and adding to the movement!

Shiragirl – It means so much to be officially part of NAMM on the most prominent stage of the tradeshow floor. For the past few years, we’ve kept it Gritty with unofficial hotel parties, performing for industry players- those became blowouts so big, we were almost shut down! Our influence has now grown, and it feels amazing to be partnering with Ultimate Ears Pro, staking our claim in the industry.

Vashonda Sherra – Being a part of Gritty, means being actively involved in the upward advancement of women in the music industry. Sharing the stage with a diverse collective of women at NAMM is a true testament to the power of representation. Thanks to Ultimate Ears Pro  for your platform and getting Gritty with the movement!

VK Lynne  – Women have come a long way in all industries, but it has only been through persistence, consistency, and a willingness to unify. Our strides towards equality have taken us far, but there are still miles to go, and we must stay consistent in our goal: complete gender parity.  Furthermore, Gritty In Pink has members from not only a variety of genres, but of ethnicities, sexual orientations, and socio-economic statuses. A performance that showcases the ability of people from such different backgrounds to work together and create excellence is an example of what’s possible. Not just for women, but for everyone.
